Redcliff Boil water order lifted

Redcliff residents are safe and able to drink tap water again. The Alberta Health Services confirmed Thursday a satisfactory water quality was restored to Redcliff and residents are no longer required to boil water for use and consumption. The boil water order was put in place Sunday after the town’s water treatment plant experienced a system failure with a disruption to the uninterrupted power supply. That resulted in a loss of distribution pressure that was restored by the afternoon but led to discolouration and poor taste, which caused AHS to issue the boil order. 5-4
