County honouring former councillor who passed recently

@MedicineHatNews Flags are at half-staff on Cypress County buildings to mark the passing of former councillor Ken Graumans, according to a release from the county. Graumans, 87, died June 7 following a battle with cancer, his obituary states. Born in Holland in 1936, Graumans immigrated to farm in the Seven Persons area in 1962 and served as a county councillor from 1995 to 2007. His funeral will be held June 28 at Holy Family Parish in Medicine Hat. Donations in lieu of flowers can be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society. 6-5
