Police seeking assistance with wire theft investigation

Medicine Hat Police Service is seeking assistance in regards to a recent theft of electrical wire.

Early Monday morning, say police, two unknown persons caused damage to the compound of an electrical company in the southwest quadrant of the city. A large amount of electrical wire was stolen.

The suspects appear to be operating a white, two-door, older model F-150 with a 4×4 logo on the rear side.

Anyone with information that could be used to further the ongoing investigation is asked to contact police by calling 403-529-8481. Tips can also be submitted, anonymously if preferred, via the MHPS website at mhps.ca or the mobile app.
