City to upgrade playground areas at three local parks

Residents will see three parks in the city with playground upgrades this year. The city has started work to install enhanced playground infrastructure within Tower Estates Park, Muir Park and Hill Pool Park. The upgrades will begin at the Tower Estates and Hill Pool Park locations with estimated completion by the end of July for all three playgrounds. Access to the construction sites will not be permitted to the public until all final landscaping has been completed. The existing trails and roads adjacent to the sites will not be impacted by the work. Residents are asked to comply with signage and the perimeter fence there to ensure a safe working zone. The City of Medicine Hat thanks residents for their patience and understanding while the improvements are completed. 7-6
