The 2024 Home and Leisure Tradeshow opens its doors Friday, inviting residents to see what more than150 vendors from the city and beyond have on offer.

The show, managed by the Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce, features tables from various industries, from renovation and real estate to agriculture and health care.

“We also have a lot of good local food vendors that are here, both in our food alley and in just exhibiting and selling throughout the show,” said event manager Brad Tajiri.

This year also features an expanded kids play area, said Tajiri, provided by Dunmore Dugout.

“We’ll have wall climbing, bouncy castles, VR, a climbing wall and bungee jumping. So that will be a huge feature this year, as well as face painting,” said Tajiri.

The trade show is an extension of the goals of the chamber as a whole, to “promote business and prosperity and community,” said Tajiri, and to create a day out that people can enjoy either alone or as a family.

The event runs from noon to 8p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Cypress Centre.
