The Hounds won both their contests, blanking the Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-0 Saturday and topping the Golden Suns 6-5 on Sunday. Adam Ranger made 22 saves in the shutout win Saturday. Nolen Sutherland led the way in the win with two goals and an assist, Jaxon Scrivener tallied two goals. Greyson Girletz and Grady Hudec each scored as well. In Sunday’s win, Scrivener scored twice, including the game winner, and Sutherland notched tow goals with an assist. Blake Dosenberger had a goal and an assist and Benjamin Floss found twine with a goal. Parker McLaughlin made 26 saves. The U18AA Hounds (11-16-5) have two games this weekend, hosting the Okotoks Oilers on Saturday. U17 The U17AAA South East Athletic Club Tigers split their weekend with a pair of shutouts, falling 2-0 Friday to the Calgary Royals before blanking the Airdrie Avalanche 3-0 Saturday. Kolter Gans made 27 saves in the Tigers’ loss Friday. Kayne Wright made 38 saves in the shutout win Saturday, with Colby Gulliver and Kade Dickie each tallying a goal and an assist and Elijah Fleck scoring a goal as well. The U17AAA Tigers (17-12-1) have two road games this weekend. U16 The U16AA Hounds lost both of their games this weekend, falling 7-2 Saturday to the Wheatland Raiders and 7-3 to the CNHA Northstars on Sunday. Jon Jackle and Griffin Aadland each scored in Saturday’s loss, Zander Weatherhead had two assists and Grady Brost made 30 saves. Ryder McGarvey had a goal and an assist Sunday with Jaxon Benci and Colton Pluta each scoring and Kayden Van Ham making 51 saves. The U16AA Hounds (5-25-2) have four road games this weekend, starting Thursday. U15 The U15AAA SEAC Tigers split their weekend, with a 3-2 OT win Saturday over the Calgary Royals and a 5-3 loss Sunday to the Calgary Flames. Carson Ward scored the game winner and Rhyder Arnold had a goal and an assist. Liam Green tallied a solo marker and Paxton Smigelski made 40 saves. In Sunday’s loss, Ward had two goals and Green scored as well, Sasha Shushkov made 41 saves. The U15AAA Tigers (9-20-2-1) have two home games this weekend, hosting the Okotoks Oilers on Friday and the Calgary Bisons on Saturday. The U15AA Hounds went undefeated over the weekend, with a 4-4 tie with the Lethbridge Hurricanes Friday and a 4-2 win over the Golden Suns on Sunday. Cole Siewert, Dane Friedt and Jude Martin each had a goal and an assist in Friday’s tie, with Alexander Schabler scoring as well. Jake Druar made 32 saves in the draw. Friedt had a goal and an assist Saturday and each of Schabler, Jaxon Martin and Chase Murphy scored, Cooper Craven had two helpers. Conner Aldag made 46 saves. The U15AA Hounds (15-13-5) have three home games this weekend, hosting the Okotoks Oilers on Thursday and both the East Kootenay Avalanche and Golden Suns on Friday. U13 The U13AA Hounds took care of business, with a 5-4 win over the Bow Valley Timberwolves on Saturday and a 9-3 drubbing Sunday over the Okotoks Oilers. Nash Davis scored twice Saturday and both Kovann Chisholm and Carter Jarvis tallied a goal and two assists. Diesel Bishop had a solo marker and Colson Neigum made 25 saves. Sunday’s blowout was led by Chisholm’s three goals and one assist. Three players had three points, with Jarvis scoring three times, Macen Ibach tallying a goal and two assists and Nash Davis with three assists. Bishop had a goal and an assist, Fletcher Aadland had two helpers and Hudson Gilchrist scored a solo marker, Hunter Munro made 20 saves. The U13AA Hounds (22-8-3) have one game this weekend, on the road Friday. 29
