Live Canadian wrestling tour returns to the Hat

The Canadian Wrestling Elite tour is returning to Medicine Hat in February as it celebrates 15 years by hosting 12 events in 12 days across Central and Western Canada. The tour will make a stop in the Hat on Feb. 17 with WCW and WWF superstar Shane Douglas “The Franchise” in the Wildrose Room on Stampede grounds. The event will include a VIP meet and great prior to the 7 p.m. bell time, with several wrestling icons from the ECW, CWE and WCW, including seven-time CWE Champion Danny Duggan “Hotshot” and current Champion “The Zombie Killer” Mentallo. The event will also feature Chad Daniels “Chiseled” and local Medicine Hat wrestling stars “Crude Oil” Cody Mac, Tyler “Hard” Knox and Deryck Crosse.
