Drone, K9 unit help nab suspects of business break-in

Local police used dogs and a drone to track two suspects of a business break-in on Thursday morning and recovered a substantial amount of stolen computer equipment.

The Medicine Hat Police Service states in a release that officers were called to an early morning alarm at a business on the 1200 block of Kingsway Avenue.

A police K9 unit and unmanned aerial vehicle took part in a search and officers took two individuals into custody.

Anthony Brown, 37, and Morgan Williams, 30, are charged with theft over $5,000 and will remain in custody ahead of a court appearance on Dec. 18.
