The Vikings beat the Stettler Wildcats 38-15 on Saturday to put them into the Alberta Schools Athletic Association South Championship. Crescent Heights will host the Cardston Cougars at the Methanex Bowl on Saturday to battle for a spot in the Alberta Bowl on Nov. 25. The Medicine Hat High Hawks were also in provincials action over the weekend. The Hawks lost 51-12 Saturday at home against the Holy Trinity Academy Knights. JV football The Crescent Heights Jr. Vikings finished second in the province. The JV club lost Saturday night at Red Deer against the Notre Dame Cougars by a score of 27-22 to finish second in Alberta. They qualified for the finals with a win over the undefeated Brooks Road Runners last week, winning the JV Rangeland championship cup. 9
