Tone Fitness and Dance Ltd. is presenting the seventh annual Bellydance Soiree in the Esplanade Studio Theatre on Nov. 18.
The highlight of the soiree is the ‘Tournament of Bellies.’
“The ‘Tournament of Bellies’ is immensely popular with the audience, they take part in voting for the winner and love every moment,” says Lindsay Perry, co-owner Tone Fitness. “Lots of laughs and crowning the winner is great fun.”
Along with Bellydance entertainment there will be a wet bar and light refreshments.
Tone’s bellydancers make appearances at public events throughout the city including Canada Day celebrations and Spectrum festival.
“People are always surprised at the calibre of our performances, costumes and overall entertainment. What we do has been a hidden gem that we’d like to share with our community,” says Perry. “What we do is 100 per cent local. We are proud of our show, our choreography and of course our dancers.”
