Saskatchewan Roughriders will not renew coach Dickenson’s contract after 6-12 season

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders are making changes after a 6-12 season left them just short of the playoff cut.

The team says Craig Dickenson is out as head coach. He will not have his contract renewed.

There’s no immediate word on a replacement.

The Roughriders also say that general manager Jeremy O’Day has agreed to a new contract.

O’Day also serves as vice-president of football operations.

Saskatchewan had its playoff hopes dashed on Saturday with a 29-26 loss to the Toronto Argonauts. It was the Roughriders’ seventh loss in a row.
