The Rattler golfer leads through two rounds at the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association national tournament held at Champlain St. Lawrence, Que. Valk leads the pack in the men’s singles competition, sitting 10-under par after an opening round of 65 Tuesday, followed by a score of 69 on Wednesday. The next closest golfer in Felix Bouchard of André Laurendeau, a college in Montreal, who is six shots back at four under. On the women’s side, the Rattlers have two female golfers competing at the national tournament, with Lybby Bourassa and Taryn Sanderson sitting in 14th and 17th respectively. Bourassa put together rounds of 90 and 89 and Sanderson shot 97 and 94 through two rounds of play. Round 3 gets underway Thursday morning and the tournament wraps up Friday with the final round of action. 7
