Two Havre residents face up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty on Monday to trafficking fentanyl onto an Indian Reserve near the northeast Montana town. Brittany Alice Bradley, 25, and Daniel First Raised, 32, each pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute controlled substances on the Fort Belknap and the Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservations, according to a release from the U.S. federal Justice Department. Both will be sentenced in December on the charge, which carries with it a mandatory minimum of five to 40 years imprisonment, a $5-million fine and at least four years of supervised release. The defendants were detained pending further proceedings. FBI agents allege in court documents they learned that First Raised was distributing a significant amount of fentanyl while Bradley distributed fentanyl and meth with First Raised. Law enforcement believe they likely received their drugs from a source in Yakima, Wash. 6
