Medicine Hat football talent was on display at the Alberta Summer Games last weekend.
There were nine football players from Medicine Hat representing the South Knights football team at the Alberta Summer Games held at Okotoks – one from the Hawks program, two from the Vikings program and six from the Colts program, coming from both the junior and senior football programs.
The South Knights placed third, earning a bronze medal with a 38-33 win over the Central Huskies in the bronze-medal game. In the last Summer Games, the South Knights placed seventh.
