Local Friends of Medicare chapter hosting health forum

The head of the Palliser Friends of Medicare, which advocates for improved and public healthcare services, says that all candidates have been invited to take part in the May 10 evening presentation at the Medicine Hat Public Library theatre (from 7 to 9 p.m.). To this point local New Democrat and Alberta Party candidates have confirmed attendance. Former city alderman and lawyer Bill Cocks will moderate the event, presenting prepared and submitted questions about the platform and candidate positions. There is no cost to attend or registration required. 8-7
