https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Road repairs are planned on a busy stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway in Medicine Hat starting next week, according to Alberta Transportation and the city’s roads department. Concrete panels making up the roadway at two intersections will be replaced over five weeks starting May 1, according to a city release on Tuesday. That will likely cause delays, though traffic should remain flowing in both directions with lane reductions. The sites are at Sixth Street SW, near the Wyndham Gardens Hotel, and 16th Street SW, near the Husky House restaurant and Esso Station. Once installed, the concrete will take three days to cure, during which no active work will take place, though barriers will remain. Motorists are encouraged to obey all construction signs, or avoid the area, if possible. 8
