Street sweeping is on the way to residential streets next week, the city’s municipal works department reported Friday.
The annual operation officially kicked off in late March with overnight work on boulevards, medians and bridges, and work on major roads and hills underway.
With school zones complete, crews will now move into the first of 17 residential zones on Monday.
The schedule begins this year in Zone 1, comprising the north and south Flats neighbourhood, and each zone takes about two days to complete.
Daytime parking restrictions will be place between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m., with temporary signs posted 12 hours before hand.
Dog park maintenance
A portion of the Saratoga off-leash dog park will be closed next week for maintenance, states a release from the city’s parks department on Friday.
The park will be open to the public, but only the western half as crews work on the remainder.
The work is expected to begin on April 26 and conclude on May 3.
