SALTA gymnastics competes at provincial level

sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Southern Alberta Gymnastics club was in Calgary over the weekend competing against the province’s best. SALTA gymnastics’s Level 6 and 7 competitive athletes had strong showings in the provincial competition, bringing home some hardware. Alivia Theofan and Paige McKay both came away with silver medals on the uneven bars, Kabri Stickle took a bronze medal on vault and Chelsia Cooper walked away with four bronze apparatus medals and a third place all around finish. SALTA’s Level 3+ athletes will head to Airdrie early in May to compete at the Compulsory championships looking to bring even more recognition to the club’s successful program. 5-4
