St. Mary’s School and Notre Dame Academy co-hosted the 10th annual Mega Tournament, involving teams from Medicine Hat and area, Lethbridge, Taber and area and Brooks area. There were 37 schools participating, with 775 athletes, including one para-athlete. There was one out-of-province school competing, with Fox Valley, Sask. attending the local tournament. Here are the local results from the tournament. Under 13 Girls singles: Silver, Sasha Todd, St. Mary’s; Bronze – Autumn Lebert, Alexandra Boys doubles: Gold, Phoenix Fen and David Mann, St. Mary’s Medicine Hat; Silver, Mason Pollard and Ethan Chenard, Notre Dame. Girls Doubles: Gold, Gabriana Cardona & Kylie Allan, Dr Roy Wilson Mixed: Bronze, Eden Schmunk and Lucas Fischer, Irvine. Under 14 Boys Singles: Gold, Illya Khazov, Crescent Height. Girls Singles: Silver, Jazlyn Green, Parkside. Boys Doubles: Gold, Nash Lehr and Lucas Klatt, Irvine; Silver, Mac Harvey-Zenk and Liam Green, Notre Dame; Bronze, Carter Prince and Ryder Becker, Parkside. Girls Doubles: Gold, Teagin Kutanzi and Addyson Robins, Parkside. Mixed: Silver, Martin Bird and Bella Ferguson, École les Cyprès; Bronze, Ethan Bowey and Jessa Krauss, Irvine.
