sports@medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews The Medicine Hat High School basketball teams finished their years off with high rankings. The Hawks boys team won a few tournaments and were ranked in the top 15 all season while the girls team was also ranked and competed in 4a provincials. The 4A Southern Alberta All Star game was Mar. 23 in Lethbridge at Chinook High School with seven participants from Hat High. The boys team had four participants: Grade 12 Jeremy Ngo, Grade 11 Trey Watson, Grade 11 Jada Bolok and Grade 11 Arinze Aniagu. The girls had three representatives: Grade 12 Jaida Gold, Grade 12 Andee Feko and Grade 11 Gracie Kradovill Aniagu was named a first team all-star with Watson being tabbed with second team honours. Both Gold and Kradovill were named second team all-stars. Hawks Gerad Wagenaar was named co-coach of the year for junior varsity girls.
