ANN RODERMOND 1941 ~ 2023 Ann (Antje) Rodermond passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, surrounded by the love and presence of her beloved husband, Mark and many of her children. Left to cherish Ann’s memory are her children, Shirley (Michael) den Ouden, Irene (Michael) Dykstra, Roger (Janice) Rodermond, Evelyn (Yvon) Blanchette, Bonita (Rodger) Talstra, Brian (Roxanne) Rodermond, Neil (Shihgee) Rodermond; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Her siblings, Klaas (Judy), Walter (Dora), Rob (Sarah) and Wilf (Helen) Craats will also remember her with love. Service details will be announced once confirmed. Memorial donations in Ann’s name may be made directly to St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice or to a charity that is special to you. A Celebration of Ann’s life will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating. JENNY ST. CYR 1944 – 2023 Jeannette “Jenny” Louise St. Cyr passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the age of 78 years, beloved wife of Guy St. Cyr of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory three children, Rick St. Cyr, Terry St. Cyr and Tammy (Dave) Dickenson; two grandchildren, Avery and Cooper; three brothers Pete (Gwen) Schebel, Steve (Susan) Schebel and Ed (Myrna) Schebel; three sisters, Olga Rabinovich, Sophie (Gordon) Palmer and Helen (Bob) Fisher as well as numerous nieces and nephews. LILIAN MARYANN DEBLER March 18, 1925 March 3, 2023
It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Lilian (Moore) Debler. She passed away peacefully at the Masterpiece on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 97 years. Lilian was born on March 18, 1925, in Wood Green, London, England, UK to Walter & Susan Moore.
Lil met her beloved, Tony, a Canadian Soldier, while roller skating at Crystal Palace & fell in love. They were married on March 30, 1946. Lilian emigrated to Canada in September 1946. Tony joined his loving wife, weeks later in Medicine Hat.
Lilian was predeceased by her husband, Tony in October 1992. Left to cherish Lilian’s memory is Susan (Bert) Sauer, Wayne Debler, Gary Debler, Diane (Jim) Dulle, Brent (Sharon) Debler; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; loyal friend, Laura Stolk.
Lilian emigrated to Canada as a War Bride & was proud to become a Canadian. Lil & Tony purchased a farm near Seven Persons & achieved their dream. Lil became a dedicated farmer’s wife & mother of 5 children. Lil was delighted being a grandmother & great grandmother.
Lilian was an excellent cook & baker. Lil was also well known for her baking skills of bread, chiffon cakes, pies, & kuchen. Lil became very successful in making many German dishes & learning the language.
Lilian also enjoyed sewing, knitting, picture taking & collecting dolls. Later in life, Lilian became an active member of TOPS & later became a member of KOPS. Lilian was a faithful member of Victory Lutheran Church.
For those wishing to attend, a public visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9 from 6 to 8 pm at Grace Memorial _1924 -10th Avenue NW.
A private family burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery, prior to the funeral service.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10 at 1PM at Victory Lutheran Church, officiated by Pastor Roland. The service will be live streamed and available to view at

EMANUEL ROTH
1927 ~ EMANUEL ROTH ~ 2023 Emanuel Roth of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Margaret Roth, passed away on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at the age of 96 years. Emanuel leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Chris (Loretta) Roth, sisters, Kay (Henry) Kundert and Irma Bowe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Emanuel was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; parents, Wilhelm and Christina Roth; brother, Gottlieb Roth; sisters, Anne Roth (in infancy), Martha Bechtold, and Louise Haag; and brother-in-law, Bill Bowe. Emanuel was born February 14th, 1927 in Johannesdal, Odessa. He came to Canada with his family in 1928 and settled on a farm near Burstall, SK. After spending eight years there, the family moved to Richmound, SK where Emanuel remained for the next 32 years. On March 26, 1960, he married Margaret Beirbach and they lived on the farm in Richmound. Later on they moved to Medicine Hat. Emanuel worked for Wittke Iron Works for 15 years before his retirement. Emanuel enjoyed being outdoors and liked to go fishing and playing baseball. He loved his home in Medicine Hat and kept a large, beautiful yard and garden. ED WEISGERBER 1938 ~ 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Ed Weisgerber of Medicine Hat, beloved husband to lrene, passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 3, 2023 at the age of 84 years. He was predeceased by his parents Mike and Barbara Weisgerber; his son Shane and his siblings, Mary Buscholl (Jim), Wilf, Vic and Bill.
Besides his loving wife Irene, Ed is survived by his children, Larry (Alana) and Sandra Greene (Jason); his grandchildren Sydney (Brandon), Taylor (Devon), Matt, Rob, Bret and Chad (Charlee) and his great grandchildren, Amelia and Mason; his siblings, Joe (Peggy), Mike (Anne) and Marlene Duchscherer (Ron) and his sisters-in-law Jeanette, Donna and Eleanore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was born on December 18, 1938, at Prelate Saskatchewan and grew up on the family farm near Sceptre. Ed left home and began work with the Bridge Crew where he met his future wife Irene. They married on January 23, 1965 and settled in Medicine Hat. He began his lifelong career with the Department of Highways, which later became Volker Stevin, where he retired from at the age of 69. Ed loved his job, family and friends. He could always find a card game and visit with anyone. He enjoyed fishing, watching hockey, working in the yard and spending time with his family. Ed will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Family and friends will gather for prayers in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. The prayer service will be live streamed.
