YMCA seeks several helpers at downtown volunteer fair tonight

The YMCA of Medicine Hat is hosting a volunteer fair today from 5-7 p.m. at its downtown location. The organization is looking for volunteers to fill several positions, including group fitness and climbing wall instructor positions, as well as youth program, tutoring, janitorial and special events positions.

Prospective volunteers must be able to provide a clean police background check (upon request) to be approved for the position.

Once approved, the YMCA will provide training to volunteers. The YMCA also offers volunteers who work four or more hours per month a complimentary Health Plus gym membership.
