ATCO Structures acquires Lethbridge-based manufacturer Triple M

Lethbridge-based company Triple M Modular Housing has been acquired by ATCO Ltd.
Terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Triple M is a leading North American manufacturer of factory-built modular housing situated in north Lethbridge.
“This acquisition boosts ATCO’s status as a global leader and innovator in modular construction, offering our customers a diverse range of modular products from residential to commercial to industrial,” said Adam Beattie, president, ATCO Structures, in a statement. “Triple M’s ability to deliver affordable, high-quality homes within a short construction timeline is a strategic advantage for us in the current housing market.”
Triple M, according to ATCO, will operate as a specialized housing division of ATCO Structures.
Established in 1981, Triple M employs more than 300 highly-trained employees and an experienced management team.
It builds residential homes and associated products at its 230,000 square foot, climate-controlled facility. It also has an extensive dealers network across Canada.
ATCO Structures, which is the founding business line of ATCO group, has been in business for 75 years and has production facilities in Canada as well as the U.S., Mexico, Chile and Australia.
According to a press release, ATCO Structures “provides global solutions for workforce housing, hotels, medical facilities, schools, multi-family housing and more.”
ATCO is a diversified corporation with about 6,400 employees and assets of $23 billion.
