Property assessment notices being mailed this week

City property assessments have been mailed to all residential and commercial property owners in Lethbridge.
In a press release, the City says if notices haven’t been received by Jan. 17, property owners should call 311, or if they’re out of the city, 403-320-3111 to obtain a copy. They can also see and reprint their notices by registering their property at Lethbridge.ca/MyCity.
Property owners who have signed up for eNotices will have received their notice by email at the address registered to their MyCity account.
Because of delays at the provincial land title office, people who have taken possession of a property may not yet be registered on title. Those who are experiencing this situation can contact the City for a copy.
Any owner who has met with an assessor and isn’t satisfied with the assessed value of the property in question can file a formal complaint prior to the appeal deadline.
