Police search for person of interest

The Medicine Hat Police Service is requesting public assistance to help identify a person of interest.

At 1:20 p.m. on Dec. 5 a male who was carrying a baseball bat unlawfully entered a parked vehicle. The owner of the vehicle, who is a resident in the Southeast Hill, confronted the male and was knocked to the ground and had his cell phone stolen during the altercation.
