ROBERT “BOB” JOSEPH MARSHALL
ROBERT “BOB” JOSEPH MARSHALL On November 30,2022 Robert “Bob” Joseph Marshall passed away. He was predeceased by his parents Murdock and May Marshall and his son Richard Marshall. He leaves behind his wife of 49 years Deb Marshall, brothers and sisters by marriage, many cousins and close friends. It is so difficult to sum up a persons life. To him life was the adventure. He had a remarkably dry sense of humour. He was a honourable man whose hand shake was more solid then something written in stone. He led a life of service in the radiological medical profession from setting up and managing radiology departments to working as an X-Ray technician. He flew in bush planes to the Yukon to supply X-Ray services and worked on a high trauma team in BC.
Bob was always a Saskatchewan farm boy at heart. Many of the best years growing up where spent at Grampa and Gramas farm. The love of his life was his horse Lady..Deb was a close second. In later years, while health permitted, he was able to enjoy his life on a beautiful acreage that gave host to his horses. They say you can measure a man’s life as successful if he has had the love of a good woman, the gift of a good horse and the loyalty of a good dog. Well..this man earned all three.
We have choices here..
You can close your eyes and pray he’ll come back, you can shed tears, you can feel empty in your heart and mind…you can feel sadness and loss because he is gone…or…you can remember the love shared, the happiness of yesterday and see everything he has left behind. You can cherish his memory and be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can choose to make each thought of him a joy instead of sorrow.
At Bobs request there will be a celebration of his life this summer. In lieu of flowers a donation to the SPCA or Local Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated. I would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Technicians at the hospital who took such good care of Bob. A special thank you to Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel for their care and professionalism.

GLENN PERSON
GLENN PERSON 1952 ~ 2022 Glenn Jeffrey Person passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital after a tough battle with leukemia on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 70 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Florence. Glenn is survived by his wife of 47 years, Terry (nee Gillespie) along with his sons, Reid and Brett and grandchildren, Linus, Markus and Elowen. Glenn graduated from Carpentry School and worked within the trades moving up to Foreman and Project Manager prior to starting his own business in 1991. He guided his environmental remediation and construction company for 15 years prior to retiring in pursuit of his passions for restoring classic cars. In his later years, Glenn spent his free time breathing new life into these cars and racing some of them on the NHRA circuit. He created many Class Champions and record holders as he toured and proudly showed his cars. Even as the grim news of his cancer was presented, Glenn maintained his humor and kept everyone’s spirits up with a quick quip or a joke. Glenn enjoyed his winters in Arizona and taking up golf later in life. He made many new snowbird friends over the years. Glenn will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and neighbors. He really appreciated the support and care from the nurses and doctors at the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre which made his journey a bit easier. At this time, Glenn’s life will be silently remembered. (Condolences may be expressed by visiting

WENDY DAVIES
WENDY DAVIES 1947 ~ 2022
The family of Wendy Lynn Davies sadly announces her passing on December 2, 2022 at the age of 75 years. Wendy passed away peacefully with her children near. This amazing woman will be very much missed by her children: Tracy (Fred), Tara (Andrew), Trina (Bruce), Darren (Vicki), Dean (Crystle), Traelene (Mike), Talayna (James), and Tenille (Mike); her grandchildren Shaneen (David), Shanan (Matt), Austin (Talisha), Brianne (Josh), Colton, Kayli (Ian), Joseph, Tysen, Kalyca, Jackie and Alexis. She was extremely proud to be a great grandmother to Andrew, Alice and Ayva. Wendy was predeceased by the love of her life David Davies with whom she had 25 years of happiness. She also leaves to cherish her memory her brother Jim Thompson (Karen) and her sister Cathy Daniel (Barry). Wendy grew up in Kelowna, BC and moved to Medicine Hat in 1973, where she enjoyed a wonderful life and made some great close lifelong friends. Shelley, Judy and Julie were like family to her and also to us kids. In her younger years, Wendy dreamt of being a nurse; instead she took on the role of Super Mom to her eight kids and multiple foster babies over the years. When she did work outside the home, she was a caregiver as well. She spent her life putting others before herself. Like her favourite song, Wendy was “Unstoppable”. She had the best sense of humour around and often said she had missed her calling and should have been a comedian. Her stories and jokes will be sorely missed by us all. Her many colourful expressions had us giggling for hours! She loved music and prided herself on being “up to date” with us kids and the latest tunes. As per her wishes, there will be no service. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Good Sam’s and in ftlineparticular Dr. Jeraj for their kind respectful treatment of our Mom who had three of the best months of her life at the end. What an amazing place and people. To leave a message of condolence you may visit
