Drummondville Voltigeurs defeat Shawinigan Cataractes 4-2 behind Lapointe’s late goal

SHAWINIGAN, Que. – Jérémy Lapointe scored what proved to be the winner as the Drummondville Voltigeurs defeated the Shawinigan Cataractes 4-2 on Tuesday.

Alexis Morin, with one goal and one assist, Simon Hughes and Mikael Diotte also scored for Drummondville (13-12-0). Jacob Goobie made 29 saves.

Félix Lacerte and Jérémy D’Astous responded for Shawinigan (11-13-0-2). Rémi Delafontaine saved 18-of-21 shots.
