Test your quick horror skills with the Terrifying Tiny Tales Contest

This Halloween the News is serving up tricks and treats with its Terrifying Tiny Tales Contest. All you have to do is submit an original scary story to newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com by 5 p.m. Oct. 28 for a chance to have your story featured in the Oct. 29 issue of the News. Now here’s the trick: Stories must be 50 words in length or fewer to qualify. As for the treat, authors of the two best stories will each win a $25 South Country Co-op gift card (perfect for buying mini chocolate bars and chip bags). Winners will be selected by the News. Stories must be 50 words or fewer in length to qualify and must not contain foul language or graphic descriptions of violence and/or gore. While you may submit as many stories as you’d like, contest entries will be limited to one per person. 6-5
