Man charged over returning to scene of investigation with stolen ATV, gun

A Pincher Creek RCMP allege a man arrested earlier this month has been charged with returning to the scene of their investigation with a stolen ATV and a loaded rifle.

Mounties say Jesse Flett, 36, of no fixed address, was observed running from a residence by officers on Sept. 6 when they returned to continue a search that began Sept. 2. The initial search found a stolen truck and three stolen motorcycles, and Flett was also charged with tampering with a vehicle identification number and fleeing from police.

A new release states additional charges related to the seizure of a loaded Browning rifle and a polaris side-by-side, which police say are stolen.

He was remanded in custody and is next due in Provincial Court on Sept. 20.
