Two former Medicine Hat Tigers will suit up for a professional hockey team this season. Forward Logan Barlage and defenceman Scott Allan have signed with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, the team announced via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon. Barlage was traded to the Tigers at the 2021-22 trade deadline and scored seven goals and 16 points in 33 games played for the Tabbies. The 20-year-old played five seasons in the WHL with the Swift Current Broncos, Lethbridge Hurricanes and Tigers. Allan played 37 games for the Tigers from 2013-15. The 26-year-old also played for the Seattle Thunderbirds and the Hurricanes in his WHL career. The Komets are affiliated with the Edmonton Oilers and the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League. 6
