Dozens of charges for pair follow drug, weapons seizure by RCMP in Gleichen

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Mounties in Gleichen have arrested two people after reportedly seizing drugs and guns after a search of a residence in the town west of Bassano on Monday. The RCMP detachment in Gleichen says the search of the house on Railway Street turned up undisclosed amounts of cocaine, fentanyl and oxycodone, as well as cash, four rifles, a shotgun, a machete and bear spray. Justin Andrew Woodside, 45, faces a total of 80 charges, including possessing prohibited weapons, trafficking a controlled substance and unauthorized, careless use of a firearm. Charlene Marie Annette Coates, 45, is also charged with drug and weapons offences. Both were remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in Gleichen Provincial Court today. 7-6
