Plenty up for grabs in Stampede draws, raffles

A few lucky Hatters will leave Stampede richer than they arrived, when numbers are drawn for multiple 50/50 draws and community raffles. To help you decide at which to try your luck, the News has compiled a list of all draws, raffles, prizes and costs. 50/50 Draws Held at all night shows and rodeos, as well as the July 25 Summer Jam. Tickets are available one for $2, three for $5 or 10 for $20. Prize amounts vary. All proceeds to Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede. Community Raffles Tickets sold throughout Stampede week, but all prizes are drawn Sept. 1. Winners will be contacted directly. All tickets sell for one for $2, three for $5 or 10 for $20, except Medicine Hat Moose Lodge raffle tickets which are available one for $2 or three for $5. Prize amounts are as follows; Medicine Hat Moose Lodge raffle: $5,000 cash prize Medicine Hat Elks Lodge raffle: $7,500 cash prize Ladies of the Auxiliary raffle: $10,000 cash prize Friends of Medalta Society: $15,000 cash prize Medicine Hat Shrine Club and Al Azhar Shriners raffle: $20,000 cash prize Medicine Hat Kinsmen Club: One grand prize, which includes $10,000 cash and 15 South County Co-op gift cards worth $1,000. Total value $25,000. Proceeds are divided between host organizations (60 per cent) and Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede (40 per cent). 18-17
