Hill Road to close for summer months for water, sewer upgrades

Hill Road will be closed for much of July and August as the city begins work to replace aging water and sewer infrastructure and improve the intersection of Sixth Street SE and Fifth Avenue. Construction begins July 4 and is expected to conclude at the end of August, weather depending.

Side walks and portions of the trail systems along Hill Road will also be closed.

The city thanks Hatters for their patience and asks they obey all construction and detour signage.
