Talons hand out athletic awards

The Eagle Butte High School Talons recognized their athletes achievements and success with their year-end awards.

The Talons celebrated the 2021-22 athletic season last Wednesday by naming each team’s most valuable players and awarding a Team Pride Award.

Eagle Butte athletes of the year were Justin Jager, Colton Robinson and Sarah Pimblett. Jager and Pimblett also received the Dave Rozdeba Triple A Award. Quinn Olson was awarded the Spirit of Youth Award.

Cross country MVPs: Junior-Quinn Olson/CJ Payeur, intermediate-Kassidy Hart/Sam Schick, Desirae Stuber/Justin Jager

Cross country pride: Avery Dyck, Evan Digney and Cameron Jager.
