Power line maintenance delayed

The construction scheduled for a section of power line on Second Avenue NE has been postponed until the fall.
The City of Medicine Hat announced via their social media platforms Monday afternoon that the scheduled maintenance would likely be delayed until September due to the current weather conditions.
The construction was supposed to temporarily close access to Finlay Bridge today and Wednesday to prevent access to the work zone. The 104-year-old bridge will no longer be closed to motorists.
