First demolition derby of season runs Saturday

Saturday is going to be a bad day to be a car.

The Medicine Hat Speedway is set to host the second annual S&E Automotive Metal Mayhem demolition derby.

The derby, sponsored by the Canadian Gun Hub, will also feature lawnmower races and has over $10,000 in cash and prizes available.

The special event gets underway at 5 p.m. with admission set at $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65 and older, $15 for students aged 13-17, $10 for children aged 5-12 and those under four watch for free.
