Medicine Hat’s own Nutters Everyday Naturals is celebrating its 40th anniversary Saturday.
“We’re just very excited to be celebrating 40 years of being part of the Medicine Hat community,” Donald Cranston, managing director, told the News.
The family-based business, which was established in 1982, has grown from one Medicine Hat store to 23 locations across Western Canada, with a new Kamloops store opening soon.
“Our founder, Dr. Jim Cranston, and his partner started this company … and we just carried on with his vision of having a bulk and natural specialty store,” said Cranston. “We’re so proud of our corporate stores and our franchise owners across Western Canada. They’ve been they’ve been a huge reason for our success.”
Cranston also thanks Nutters’ loyal customer base, especially those in Medicine Hat who have supported the business since it opened.
“I just want to thank our customers in the community for their loyal support,” he said. “We wouldn’t be here today without them.”
Cranston invites customers to visit any Nutters location Saturday and take part in the 40th anniversary celebration running all day.
“We’ve got door prizes and giveaways. We’ve got some cupcakes. We’ve got some sampling and some great in-store specials to celebrate 40 years,” he said.
