Alberta baseball talent ID camp coming to the Hat

Baseball season is just around the corner and Medicine Hat athletes have a chance to represent the province. The Alberta Amateur Baseball Council is once again putting on its talent ID camps for any Alberta baseball players interested in possibly playing for a Team Alberta event. The camp tour will make a stop in Medicine Hat on April 11 at Athletic Park. Anyone born from 2004-08 is able to pay $20 and reserve a spot in the camp. Registration for the Medicine Hat camp closes at midnight on April 10. Athletes cannot be invited or selected to a Team Alberta event if they do not attend a camp. The AABC says on its website it is looking for athletes that are competitors with a team-first mentality and who don’t dwell on past mistakes or poor performance. 5-4
