https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews Mounties in Brooks are looking for a second suspect following discovery of bullet holes after an apparent car chase on Saturday night. RCMP officials say they got a call about two cars travelling at excessive speed at about 3 a.m., and found one vehicle parked in a residential area in the east side of the city. The driver told police he was attempting to elude a black SUV that was chasing him with a person firing a gun at his car. RCMP observed bullet holes in the vehicle, and later determined “several shots” were fired after one car followed the other after an altercation at an establishment on the 100 block of First Street W. One suspect has been identified, according to police, but another is being sought, though no description is provided. Anyone with relevant information should contact the Brooks detachment at 403-362-5535 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477. 7
