Local conservationists will be able to make their own beeswax wraps at the Police Point Park Nature Centre this weekend. The event, which runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will allow those in attendance to create their own wraps, which serve as an alternative to plastic wrap. “They can be washed and reused, are healthier for you and will save you money,” reads a release from the Nature Centre. Wraps are $10 per person, and all materials will be supplied. For more information on this event, as well as others put on by the Nature Centre, call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225 or visit Police Point Park’s Facebook and Instagram pages. 5
