FAY LOUISE CHAPMAN
March 27th, 1958 – October 30th,2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Fay Louise Chapman announces her sudden passing on the 30th of October 2021. Fay was born in Victoria, BC and moved all around Canada with her siblings, as her dad was in the Navy. The majority of her early years were spent in Ontario and Halifax, the latter being where she met her first husband, Sam whom she had her two oldest children with. After they separated, Fay married the love of her life, Paul, in 1987 and they had two boys of their own and their family was complete. Their time was spent mostly in the Redcliff, Medicine Hat area but they did spend a few years in Camrose and Grand Prairie. Fay retired from CFB Suffield in 1999, where she worked as the Base Accommodations Officer. Fay loved her family very much and her kids and her grandkids were the lights of her life. While her kids were growing up, they looked forward to family camping trips, visits to their Auntie and Uncles’ houses and Fay’s cooking. She was a fantastic cook and she loved to bake for her family as well as herself. Fay had a sweet tooth and she loved her Pepsi and her chocolate treats, you could always count on a candy dish full of the good candies when you visited her! Fay was pre-deceased by her parents, Alvin and Joyce French; her brother, Darryl; grandson, Finn; and her husband, Paul. She leaves to mourn her Daughter, Angela (Neil) Kew; Sons, John (Melody) Astika, Chance Chapman, Randy (Camille) Chapman and her grandchildren, Annalise, Josh, Briony, Alex, Willow, Alexis, Mae, Ben and Lyla. Fay was in a lot of pain both physically and emotionally and her family is grateful that she suffers no more.
