1932 ~ JOSEPH BOLZ ~ 2021
Joseph Peter Bolz passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Rosie Bolz of Medicine Hat after 59 years of marriage. He leaves to cherish his memory six children, Kevin (Nadine) Bolz, Debra (Mike) Harlow, Terrance (Rhonda) Bolz, Brian (Debbie) Bolz, Melinda Bolz (Erik Van deKempe), Shawn (Raven) Bolz; fourteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his brothers-in-law, Edward (Rosaline) Bartsch and Robert Bartsch; one sister-in-law, Lois as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lenna and Carl Bolz; three sisters, Mary (Aldin) Gray, Rose Wenzel and Anne (Art) Lees and brother-in-law, Roy Bartsch. Joe was a jack of all trades, farmer, livestock shipper, carpenter and mechanic. He was a “pusher” when something had to be done. Joseph loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his younger years he was in a marching band and also played in a dance band until he went blind. He was the life of the party, and always enjoyed getting a crowd to laugh with his jokes. He will be missed by all who knew him. The funeral service will be held at a later date. 1953 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dennis Dale German announce his passing at the age of 68 years. Dennis was born on September 6, 1953, in Preeceville, Saskatchewan and passed away on October 9, 2021, peacefully at home, WITHOUT CO-VICK, as he pronounced it.
Dennis grew up in Lady Lake, Saskatchewan, a short drive from Preeceville, with his mother and father, Annie & Joseph, and his 6 siblings. His memory will be cherished by his siblings, Kathy (Ray), Walter (Gwen), Betty (Daryl), Jerry (Betty), Carol (Herold), Diane; wife, Peggy; 3 children, Landon (Sheri), Skye (Dallas), Amber (Jarrett); father & mother in-law, Dennis and Irene; 6 grandchildren, Harley, Georgia, Chaz, Berlin, Willow and Asher along with many others whose heart he touched along the way. Dennis was always surrounded by friends and family and he thoroughly enjoyed being the foreman in all areas in his life. He enjoyed scratch tickets, playing cards, ice cream, the farm, hunting & fishing, watching hunting & fishing, or having a drink with friends and family talking about hunting, fishing and of course the never-ending renovations.
A celebration of life will be held at the Gizen Family Farm by Septre, Saskatchewan on Sunday, October 17th at 1:00pm. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14th at Grace Memorial Affordable Burial & Cremation, 1924 10th Ave NW 6:00pm – 8:00pm. For everyone who cannot attend we hope you will celebrate his life in your own unique way. See you later our brother, husband, dad, son, papa, uncle and friend.

MARY REMBOWSKI
March 26, 1928 ~ October 7, 2021
Mrs. Mary Rembowski, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Rembowski, passed away peacefully at River Ridge Seniors Village in Medicine Hat, on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the age of 93 years. Mary’s memory will forever be cherished by her family; daughter, Shirley Lapp (Rod Turnbull) and son, Dale (Michelle) Rembowski; grandchildren, Suzan Lapp (Mike Piazza), Shane Lapp, Carisa (Jordan) Wilson, Chayse (Kristina) Rembowski; great-grandchild; Walker Wilson; Michelle’s children, Michael, Mackenzie (Karissa), Morgan and Matt as well as numerous sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Along with her husband of 62 years, Frank, Mary was predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Andrew Chebuk; sisters, Ann and Katie as well as her brothers, Bill, Mike, George and John. Mary was born in Wasel, AB., on March 26, 1928. She met Frank at her uncles logging camp and they were married on June 23, 1951, in Edmonton. They lived in many places throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, settling down in Medicine Hat in 1959. Mary worked at Eaton’s as well as in the restaurant they owned.  In 1971, they moved to the country where Mary enjoyed her cows, goats, sheep and gardening. This gave her grandchildren many cherished memories and opportunities to learn about farm life. Mary was a member of the Medicine Hat Oil Wives and was a long-time member of the Ladies Eagles, where she traveled to many different locations; the furthest being Buffalo, New York with her daughter. Mary was known for her love of cards, bingo, sense of humour as well as her Ukrainian dishes. She will be remembered by all for her beautiful smile. The family would like to recognize and thank the staff at River Ridge on the Expressions Wing for taking such good care of Mary for the last couple of years, great job. A family gathering celebrating Mary’s life will be held at Prairie View Cemetery on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
