Highway 3 collision closes lanes, one driver hurt, one driver ticketed

https://www.medicinehatnews.com@MedicineHatNews A collision between a dump truck and a tractor trailer closed the eastbound lanes of Highway 3 near Coaldale for several hours on Friday morning. RCMP say the driver of the dump truck was not injured but was issued a ticket for failing to safely merge before the crash that occurred at about 9:20 a.m., about three kilomtres east of the town. The 39-year-old man from Calgary who was driving the semi was taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 5-4
