By Medicine Hat News on August 7, 2021.

The Medicine Hat Big League Baseball Association celebrated the end of its summer season on Wednesday night at Jeffries Park by honouring the club’s top performers.

The program was evenly separated into two teams – Red and Blue – for the season, and each squad presented players with team accolades following a less-than-ordinary summer.

Josh Stark and Hayden Hall shared Team Blue’s Most Valuable Player Award, while Jeffrey Bullock and Kyle Woolridge split the title on Red.

Koby Eskestrand and Zach Ferguson shared the Unsung Hero Award for Team Red, while Graceon Little earned the honour for Blue.

Aidan Ekersall and Trevin Ressler earned nods for hardest working player on Red and Blue, respectively.

Cade Harrison was Team Red’s most improved player, while Brett Getz saw the biggest gains for Blue.

The Top Pitcher Award for Team Bluer went to Payton Eddy, and Caleb Garrecht collected the honour for Red.
