Police seeking public help in locating missing man

Police are seeking assistance in locating Joel Reed Goddard, who has been missing since March 24 and who is believed to have recently been in the Hat.--HANDOUT COURTESY LANGLEY RCMP

Langley RCMP is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a missing 32-year-old male believed to have recently been in Medicine Hat.

Joel Reed Goddard was reported missing on April 13, and was last seen in Langley on March 24 when he left his home in Willoughby driving a grey 2008 Ford Ranger, according to an RCMP release.

That vehicle was found abandoned on the Trans-Canada Highway near Redcliff on March 31. The release adds “in the days prior to and after the recovery of his pickup, it is believed Joel was in Medicine Hat. The last record of his movements was on April 6.”

Goddard was last seen wearing basketball shorts and a T-shirt, and is described as 6-foot-1, 190-200 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
