The storefront located on the 900 block of 16th Street in the Southwest Industrial Area was opened to the public on Friday morning following a ceremony with local dignitaries and owners Melissa and Joel Graber.

It’s been held up as a bright light for local business, and the strength of the service sector in the economy during the pandemic, said Mayor Ted Clugston.

The entity that originally operated in Redcliff, opened its Third Street location in downtown Medicine Hat in the summer of 2020.

“It’s been one of the most challenging times that we’ve seen in a long, long time,” said Joel Graber. “But the stars don’t have to align exactly for you to take a chance.”

“We’ve been able to expand and expand our staff, and that’s been very exciting,” said Melissa Graber.
