Marvin Earl Stahl, beloved husband of Ivy Stahl, passed away on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Marvin also leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Maxine and her family, Jarrie Hegg, Naomi and Linnea; daughter, Roxanne and her family, Jonathan Kroeker and Bailey; his sister; Thelma Schneider; and sister-in-law, Shelley (Rick) Steckmeister. Marlene Anne Thares passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at the age of 67 years, beloved wife of Jim Thares of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, Ryan (Tawnya) Thares and Mike (Kendra) Thares; two grandchildren, Bentley and Nolan; her mother Selma Wagner; brother, Anthony (Darlene) Wagner; three sisters, Theresa (Les) Martin, Mary Lou (Gord) Sick and Kathy (Brian) Suchan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Wagner in 2002 and brother-in-law, Bob Brost in 1989. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Rodel Abanto celebrant.

It is with heavy hearts that Ralph announces the sudden passing of his beloved wife and best friend, Charlotte Anne Pearl on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at the age of 69 years. Along with Ralph, Charlotte will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Melissa (Tyler); sisters, Faye (Don), Mary Lou (Eugene); sister-in-law, Nancy; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Suzanne), Adam (Ronna), Laura, Nicole (Ryan) Jeffrey as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, Megan, Justin, Kaitlyn, Cohen and Johnny. Also left to cherish Charlotte’s memory is her ‘adopted grandson’, Edward Pullan. Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Elizabeth Brown and her brothers, Danny and Bobby. Charlotte married Ralph on August 19, 1972, and resided in Nova Scotia until 1995 when they moved to Medicine Hat. Charlotte will be forever remembered for her love of reading in her rocking chair; baking, especially her biscuits and Rappie Pie; scrapbooking family memories and playing scrabble, especially when she would beat her brother-in-law, Don. If Charlotte wasn’t at home, there was a good chance you would find her with her daughter shopping or helping her with a project. Charlotte will be silently remembered by family and friends. March 8, 1961 ~ April 3, 2021
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Randy Purych in Medicine Hat, Alberta on April 3rd, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Randy is survived by his son, Nathan (Nicole) Purych; stepdaughter, Leigh-Ann Corris; granddaughter, Faith Purych; mom, Anna Purych; stepfather, Mike Yasinchuk; sisters, Carol (Ernie) Bespoyasny, Lynn Purych, Twyla and Deneen Yasinchuk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Randy was born in Hinton, AB, and raised in Prince George, BC. As a young adult he relocated to Fort St. John, BC working in the oilfield. Later, he moved to Williams Lake working as a cook/chef, then, in 1996, he relocated to Medicine Hat AB working in oilfield and construction. Randy enjoyed golfing, playing poker with his friends (he had many), music, fishing, camping, cooking, and social gatherings. He loved hanging out with his friends and his home was their home and his door was always open. Randy was predeceased by his father, Metro Purych; siblings, Pam and Rocky Purych; brothers-in-law, Gordon Herbst and Kenneth Okimaw; nephew, Matthew Yasinchuk; niece, baby Jodi Purych; and grandparents, Caroline and Art Boles. The funeral service will take place at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Thursday April 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
