WHL releases remainder of Central Division schedule

ktaniguchi@medicinehatnews.com@@kellentaniguchi The Western Hockey League released the rest of the Central Division’s 2021 schedule Thursday, and the Medicine Hat Tigers will wrap up the 24-game season at home on May 8 against the division-leading Edmonton Oil Kings. Following the Tabbies’ three-game series with Lethbridge this weekend, the team will battle with the Calgary Hitmen in a three-game set starting on April 2 – the Tigers took two of three games against the Hitmen in their first weekend clash of the season. Medicine Hat will also take the ice on a new day for the remainder of the season with four Monday night games on the schedule. After getting used to playing the same team in three consecutive games, the Tabbies are slated to end their season with one game in Red Deer before their regular season finale against the Oil Kings. 6-5
