Two charged in Willow Creek break and enter

A break and enter in the MD of Willow Creek has led to charges against the two suspects and an investigation into the actions of the home owner who allegedly fired a shotgun.
On Sunday at 3:30 p.m., a 911 call was received by Claresholm RCMP, reporting a break, enter and theft. The complaint was that a homeowner was detaining two suspects who were trying to leave his property after being caught breaking in. A second 911 call was received from one of the suspects, reporting that they were being threatened by the homeowner, who had a shotgun.
Claresholm, Nanton and Fort Macleod RCMP detachments all immediately responded. Two suspects were arrested without incident. Stolen property from the residence was seized.
Samuel Shawn Fralick, 24, of Blairmore is charged with break and enter, as well as possession of stolen property, possession of break in instruments and fail to comply with a previous release order. A judicial interim release hearing was held and he was released by a justice of the peace. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Fort MacLeod on March 31.
Stacey May Hubbard, 30, of High River is charged with break and enter, as well as possession of stolen property and possession of break in instruments. She was released from custody by the RCMP and is scheduled to appear in Fort MacLeod provincial court on May 19.Â
The investigation into the actions of the homeowner, who is alleged to have fired a ‘warning shot’ is ongoing by the RCMP. No one was injured during this incident.
