More than $1.2 million handed out by local Community Foundation in 2020

The Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta is acknowledging the community’s generosity during the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, $1,241,644.98 was distributed in grants, emergency funding, designated funds, scholarships, and agency funds across the region in 2020. Of that total, $1,110,824.47 was allocated to organizations within Medicine Hat. Organizations such as the local food bank, Mental Health Association, Our Collective Journey, The Mustard Seed and many others received funding during the year.
